Lee Chaolan is featured as a playable character in Tekken Tag Tournament, a non-canonical Tekken game. Lee then gives a thumbs down gesture, then turns his thumb horizontal and quickly moves it from one side of his throat to the other, presumably signifying that the two will be killed. We then see Kazuya and Heihachi, Lee's adoptive brother and father, behind bars, presumably captured. In Lee's non-canonical Tekken 2 ending cinematic, we see Lee sitting behind his desk (with a blimp flying outside in the background with his name on it). Boskonovitch's project of creating the ultimate military animal for Kazuya.ĭespite these important roles in the company, Lee was still considered Kazuya's "secretary", and with the announcement of The King of Iron Fist Tournament 2, Lee once again saw his chance to claim the Mishima Zaibatsu, and entered the tournament.
Lee's duties included being the head of Kazuya's personal bodyguards and to supervise Dr. The winner of the last tournament and new Mishima Zaibatsu owner was Lee's foster brother Kazuya, who gave Lee a job at the Mishima Zaibatsu. Lee Chaolan failed in winning the previous tournament, and was not successful in claiming the Mishima Zaibatsu. Lee entered The King of Iron Fist Tournament, in hopes of winning to and to claim the Mishima Zaibatsu. From childhood, he went through similar training to Kazuya (he was also raised to be the heir of the Mishima Zaibatsu, although while Heihachi personally taught Kazuya how to fight, he sent Lee to America, where he trained with Marshall Law and Paul Phoenix), and their combat skills can be considered equal, although those who know of his power refer to him as "Silver-haired Demon". Lee Chaolan is the adopted son of Heihachi Mishima, who adopted Lee to be the rival of Heihachi's biological son Kazuya Mishima. Their combat skill is equal, but those who know Lee's power fear the "Silver-Haired Demon". Heihachi never actually felt any emotion towards Lee the real purpose was to give Kazuya a rival to inspire him to shape up. Heihachi then took Lee Chaolan back to Japan to be educated. Impressed by Lee's street-fighting skill, Heihachi decided to adopt Lee. It was these qualities that caught the eye of Heihachi, who witnessed Lee fighting off several other kids while on a business trip. Facing a hostile environment each day, he quickly became a skilled scrapper with reflexes that were amazing for a boy of his age. Lee's parents died when he was a young child, leaving him to fend for himself on the streets.
Lee Chaolan was introduced in the original Tekken and returned for every subsequent game, except Tekken 3.
